Can’t add contact’s phone # to favorites

please note the issue is not that I can’t add someone to favorites it’s that I can’t add their mobile phone #

I’m struggling to add a contacts phone number to my favourites list. I have the options of adding them via message WhatsApp phone etc but I do not have the

option of adding them via there phone number

how can I solve this issue please
