Hi Brooker Perry

Welcome to the Apple Community.

Thank you very much for your clear description of the difficulty,

and of how it occurred, the device used, and the OS installed.

To turn off the Zoom feature:

double-tap the screen with three fingers

If you wish, you can take control of the Zoom and font-size settings by following the steps in the articles below:

Zoom in (and turn off Zoom) on the iPhone screen

https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/iphone/iph3e2e367e/ios

AND

Adjust the display and text size on iPhone

Eg:

Go to Settings  > Accessibility

> Display & Text Size

> Larger Text:

Turn on Larger Accessibility Sizes, then adjust the text size using the Font Size slider.

This setting adjusts to your preferred text size in apps that support Dynamic Type,

such as Settings, Calendar, Contacts, Mail, Messages, and Notes.

Hope this helps :-)
