Sim pin / puk code

I’ve somehow Locked my Sim card with a pin or my PUK code and somehow I can unlock it and I don’t know why I can’t make phone calls I can’t send messages I can’t do anything unless I have Wi-Fi or Internet or a hotspot from somebody else please help
