My LaCie SSD has stopped working.

My LaCie SSD has stopped working since updating to Monterey. It is a USB-C drive. I have a MacBook Air about 3 years old, Intel i5. I plug it in, the lights come on, and the lights flash, but the Mac does not find it or recognise it.

Drives can fail at anytime.

Try a different drive and compare your results...

If this drive is using built in proprietary software, visit Lacie and update the driver/software

If this drive is formatted as NTFS, then update the third party supporting software.
