Delete key on new iPad 11 magic key board

Is the delete key on the iPad 12 magic keyboard designed to be less responsive to touch in comparison to other keys?

The Delete key shouldn't be less responsive as the others, so start by making sure the keyboard is free of any dirt or debris: How to clean your Apple products. You can also try disconnecting the keyboard, restarting your iPad, then connecting the keyboard again. Thank you for your reply and the How to clean… information.

I did check around the key (delete) to see if there was debris but I could neither see nor feel anything. I tried to feel if the delete key was level with the rest of the keys and it seems to be.

All other keys tried randomly have a slight “springiness” to the touch except the delete key which is stiffer to the touch.

will take it into the Apple store here to see what those accustomed to the magi keyboard can feel.

the delete key works but not the same as the rest.
