IOS 15.1 screen share feature not compatible with iPad mini 4

Hello Apple Peeps!

I have an apple iPad mini 4 and currently I was able to update to iOS 15.1!

My only issue I have come across is wanting to use the share screen button on a facetime call and receiving a message that it is not compatible.

I was able to successfully update to iOS 15.1 no problems and all though I have checked that the iPad mini 4 is in the compatibility chart for iOS 15, that screen share button will not work! The strangest thing is the button appeared after the update but is unusable!!!

Anyone have any insight as to why my iPad mini 4 isn't working with that feature!

We see that you need help to share your screen in FaceTime.

Is everyone you’re on a call with updated to iOS or iPadOS 15? Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If so, can you tell us the exact error message you’re seeing?
