is there anyway to recover the rest of the video? I shot a 6 minute video that plays fine up until the 3 minute mark and then it just goes black and has no sound. When I go to edit the video it also shows I can only edit the beginning 3 minutes. How do I go about fixing this?

To confirm, do you use iCloud Photos? If so, does this video appear the same when you play it on another device?
Does this happen with every longer video you take or only with this specific video?

I am using ICloud for photos. It does the same thing on my ICloud as well. At the time the video was taken however photos were not backing up on iCloud due to lack of space. I upgraded my storage, but still goes black halfway through the video. This has never happened before with previous videos.

If this video is showing the same in multiple locations and on multiple devices, then there would not be a way to recover the last part of this particular video.
If this happens again in the future while recording a video on your iPhone, then we would recommend reaching out to Apple Support to get the best assistance going forward.

It says the video is 6:00 min long, but in iCloud when I go to play the video it says it is only 3:00 long. Is there no way to repair the file to recover the second half of the video?
