I cant seem to change the clock color back to white and its stuck on black.

I used to have the clock on lockscreen whitecolored. But it is stuck on black, even if the wallpaper behind it is dark colored or even completely black. I do not have on inverted colors.

I have an iPhone 8.

iPhone 8, iOS 15

Thank you for letting us know sitrontre,

Have you updated to to iOS 15.1? If not, do you have a recent backup for the data in your iPhone in iCloud or your computer? If not, we recommend that you create one as described here: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Then update your iOS as outlined here: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Cheers!

Hello sitrontre,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with the color of your clock. To start, are you using Dark Mode? This article will show you how to check: Use Dark Mode on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Also, check your display settings under Settings > Display & Brightness to make sure they are correct: Adjust the brightness and color temperature on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
