my airtag has died. what can i do?
My AirTag has died (no longer shows on my iPhone even when beside it). What can I do?

Take it back.
Not at all helpful because:
(a) the battery should not have died in an AirTag only used about 4 weeks; and
(b) I did try that just in case but the AirTag still doesn’t show up.
So, what CAN I do, please?
As I bought it online direct from Apple (there is no Apple store anywhere near me to which I could return the AirTag) I’m hoping that someone official from Apple might see this and give me a constructive suggestion about returns.
