Why is there a UAE flag in the Apple menu bar (it is not the language flag, I tried)

I see there is a round United Arab Emirates (UAE) flag in the top part of the new macOS Monterey mens, near the clock and date. I have my Mac set to US English and ONLY US English. is this some sort of fluke or mistake? Anyone else have this weird flag?

That's not an UAE flag. It's the icon for Siri. Look closer.

oh wow, what an ugly icon I guess, because it is not intuitive and it seems like Siri's icon is now the UAE flag. LOL omg so funny. I bet I'm not the only person whose confused by this. You mean that a user has to squint their eyes or use a magnifying glass to see that it is not a flag? Why are icons becoming so small? I feel this move toward absolute extreme minimalism is having a negative impact on practicality. Buttons so tiny, one can hardly click on them and barely recognize them.

Take the button on Apple Preview, as another example: to save a PDF file, you I have to magically try to hover the cursor and home that the save file location drop down menu opens, often having to repeat this multiple times before getting lucky and changing the file location.
