Bonjour toolbar icon in IE8

Should the toolbar icon for Bonjour still install in Internet Explorer 8? I remember being able to click on this icon in Explorer on an old PC to show all the Bonjour hosts on the network. I currently have 3 PCs, 2 running 7 (1 in BootCamp) and 1 running XP SP3, all with Bonjour installed and working but no sign of this icon in Explorer. I vaguely remember reading something ages ago about this feature not working in IE8 but can't find any confirmation either way now.

Same problem here... Is there no official info about this?
I run Windows Vista in VMware to test local (bonjour shared) websites developed on my mac, so the bonjour button would be great... I sort of work around the problem by using http://www.bonjourfoxy.net/ for Firefox to get the local addresses but the whole point of running the VM is to test on IE, not Firefox.
