When I try to open a game/file I just downloaded i try to open it and it says application can’t be opened, why is that? and how can i fix it?

It's because macOS protects your MacBook Pro from virus.

Try to download applications from App Store or identified developers.

What are you trying to download? If it is infected with something Apple doesn't like, I for one, would like to know what it is?
