Contacts widget not working

When I add the contact widget on iPhone the widget shows up but I am unable to edit anything on it. It just has blank contacts.

on latest OS. iPhone 11pro Max.

is there a fix for this please

iOS 15.1.1 Contacts Widget Broken Hi, Contacts widget seems to be broken on iOS 15.1.1. I am able to add it to the home screen, but I cannot select any contact, I cannot edit the widget itself, so it stays empty and useless. I tested it on three different devices (iphone 7, 12 pro max and 13) i tried to remove/re-add the widget, restart the devices, factory reset network and privacy settings, nothing works… Is it a known issue? When can we expect the fix? Thanks, Imre

Contacts widget not working No editing can be done. Turn off and on my phone several times and it does not resolve the issue. Thanks

We understand you're not seeing any information in the Contacts widget on your iPhone. We're glad you've connected with us here in Apple Support Communities, and we'd like to learn more to see how we can help.

Just to be sure we're on the same page, which exact iOS version is listed in Settings > General > About? iOS 15.1 is the most current release. Find out more about updating here, if needed:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If your iPhone is updated to iOS 15.1, and the issue persists, try editing the widget to select which contacts you want to appear. This support article provides details in the 'Edit your widgets' section:

Use widgets on your iPhone and iPod touch

I’m on vacation 15.1

When I add the contact widget, in this case it’s the one with 4 contacts on. All I get is 4 blank circles. If I press one and the edit widget option shows, nothing happens when selected.

It’s quite annoying. Also noticed that the calendar widget only shows 2 future events even when there are more than 2 in a week as well.

Hope they sort this problem out soon.

Same problem. More than week. Reboot have no effect. I have still no very important contacts widget for 15.1

Hi,

I have the same issue, when I add contacts (no matter which size) widget, it is blank and I can’t edit it. Restart doesn’t help. Iphone 12
