Has anyone else experienced OS Monterey causing crashes and freezes when using video playback on YouTube or other general sluggish behaviour? 2020 13" MacBook Pro Intel frequently freezing on native programmes including pages and keynote only after update. I've tried resetting the NVRAM and SMC to no avail. I have a clean desktop, plenty of Harddisc space and often few programmes or windows open yet problem still persists.
Wondering if perhaps there needs to be a new update to optimise the OS if others are experiencing similar issues or am I the only one?
Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/Anti-Virus/VPN
To trouble shoot further you can:

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc.
Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.
In Safe mode third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled, it removes malware, etc hampering smooth operation, however a reboot will put it back to normal mode.
This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.
