Virtualization Options for M1 Mac Mini

Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to run a ARM MAC VMs (running macOS 11+) on a M1 Mac Mini.

If it isn't possible on a M1 Mac Mini, is it possible on any other Mac Hardware?

Thanks you

Jordan.

First, ARM can virtualize only on an ARM platform, Intel can virtualize only on an Intel platform.

In terms of virtualization, Parallels most recent version supports Monterey (12+) on M1 Macs but not Big Sur(11+). The only other platform that can do virtualization on M1 is QEMU, but it can only virtualize variations of the Linux OS but not any macOS.

A mini which can run other multiple versions of macOS in virtualization would be the Intel Macs and they can only virtualize Intel operating systems.
