verification codes sent by text never received since ios15 update

Ever since updating to iOS 15 I NEVER receive the text codes generated by various banking and other secure site access sites. They used to come in nearly instantaneously, now I have to have them sent to my email address since they NEVER come by text any longer. All other texts and messages via text work fine...only the automatically generated and sent verification codes are affected.

Anyone else have this issue?

Turn out that after upgrade to iOS 15, one needs to do a full reset on the phone in order for the text verification codes to start coming in again.
