The easiest way to manage two IDs is to have separate equipment for each ID. If this is a computer you can have two IDs on it but they need to be in separate user accounts. Apple treats one ID = one person with limited sharing between them using Family Sharing. Otherwise you are really are setting up separate personas.
It won't affect anything, except you can only be signed into one ID at a time on a mobile device and signing in and out can be inconvenient as well as possibly leading to content being mixed between the two IDs if you are not careful. We could advise you better if we knew more about the context and what equipment you plan on using.
