I have an iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard. I recently upgraded to iOS 15.1. When I access the Facebook app with the iPad attached to the keyboard, I can’t access the comments, and Facebook basically just freezes up. If I take the iPad off the keyboard (so that it’s a tablet again), everything works fine. Stick the iPad back on the keyboard, the comments freeze. Anyone know why this is happening?

Does that behavior still continue after following the steps from this article? If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open
Do you experience this behavior with any other app?
Should that behavior persist with the Facebook app specifically, you’ll want to reach out to Facebook to get further assistance: Facebook Help Center They’d be in the best position to help with troubleshooting their particular app.

I am having the SAME EXACT problem. Obviously Apple is not listening to us. You specifically said that when you take the iPad OFF the Magic keyboard the iPad, the Facebook comments work totally normal. This is totally frustrating. It has happened since the last IOS update. As wonderful and friendly the chat support is, I was terribly frustrated with my Apple phone call….the person on the line barely spoke English…..sorry Apple I dont know why you would do this to your loyal customers.
I too have to hope that they address this issue with the next update!
I’m having the exact same issue with my keyboard which is attached to my IPAD. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with apple support on Friday, Nov. 5th, and the person I spoke with said it was facebook. An update was available, and I updated, but it still doesn’t work, and as the person at the beginning of the thread said, my Facebook freezes, I can’t type in a comment unless I disconnect my keyboard from my IPAD. It seems like this started happening after the last IOS update.
I’d really appreciate some help with this—the person from Apple that I spoke with, helped me make a complaint to Facebook, but so far nothing.
I’m beyond frustrated.
This workaround works for some users:
Go to the Accessibility settings and turn on Full Keyboard Access. Then tap on Commands and clear the special action for Space and any other key that causes problems.
GOOD tip on the accessibility setting, then turn on the keyboard (which has obviously been OFF since I bought the keyboard 18 months ago) Facebook now works with the keyboard ON .... HOWEVER, this then screws up other programs. Notability, email, and a few others do NOT work with the Keyboard ON. So, I'm reduced to changing the setting back and forth as needed. This also lends credence to the idea that the keyboard, after a year and a half of good service has gone ... bad(?) ... certainly it may be due to an update of some kind that makes the keyboard incompatible to a number of apps, and is therefor NOT an APP issue as I was told by tech support.

Same here, Suzie118. Apple support just shuffled me back to FaceBook …. no help on the horizon..
I have the same setup and issues with Facebook.
AND in the Youtube App, the right and left arrow does not skip forward/backward any more !
I have just now (24th november 2021) updated Facebook from version 343 to the new 345 version, but the problem is still there.
I have same problem. Latest version of Facebook. Still freezes.
