Why is there no camera in Notes?

Does anyone know how to get the camera icon to show up in Notes on an iPhone running IOS 14.8?

Make sure the note you are in was started in the iCloud or on My iPhone Group / Folder.

Other email accounts that do support notes may not support the extra features and as such the camera may not show up in Notes started in those groups.
