I bought an apple 4 watch refurbished and it won't allow me to pair to my iphone. what do I do?

I bought a refurbished apple watch 4 that was previously used and it keeps telling me when I am pairing that is can't unlock this watch due to the previous user and I need to contact the previous owner. What do I do?

Return it to wherever you got it.

It was not "refurbished". It was never properly prepared for sale.

You will never be able to use it.

Contact the previous owner to have them unlock it.

If you can't get them to unlock it get your money back as it is useless to you.
