Someone can confirm if it is true that if you purchased a new apple product by June 30, 2021, you are entitled to receive a promotional code that allows you to activate one year of free AppleTV subscription.

It doesn't use a promotional code but there was a free 1 year offer for Apple TV+ for new devices which were activated on June 30, 2021 or earlier if the offer was claimed within 3 months of setting up the new device.
