Older Kindle

I upgraded to 10.12 and then upgraded Kindle which now doesn't open. Is it possible to download an older version of Kindle than the one on the app store, which says it should run but doesn't? Thanks.

iPad Mini v. 1 Kindle App I purchased an old iPad mini to take on a trip and fill with Kindle books to read. The refurbished mini arrived today but I cannot load the current version of the Kindle app onto it. I tried going to the App store to see Purchased Apps to download that way, but it appears the current version of Kindle is not compatible with the iPad running IOS 9. If anyone knows where I can find and download an old version of the Mac Kindle reader, I would so appreciate it. Any suggestions appreciated!!

Kindle won’t load on iPad IOS16.1.1 How to open Kindle on iPad using IOS 16.1.1? Works fine on iPhone and on my previous iPad (7th gen). That iPad went kaput and was replaced from Apple Store with a new 7th gen. All the other apps seem to have loaded from the cloud just fine. I have tried a forced restart and reloading Kindle from the App Store. Suggestions?

The only Kindle application version (1.33) is the one currently in the Mac App Store which has macOS 10.10 or later requirements. Any other access to older versions would be through the Kindle download site at Amazon.
