I got locked out of my iCloud Apple ID for forgetting my password. Now I have the password but can’t log in because I’m locked out. Please help!

I got a new phone- the 13

I tried to log into my Apple iCloud on my new phone and forgot my password so I got locked out. Now I have my password but can’t get logged in since I got locked out. My question is 1. How can I get logged back in? 2. How long will will this be disabled?

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities today about your Apple ID.


If we understand, it’s your Apple ID that is locked. To get the Apple ID unlocked you will need to follow the directions in this article: If your Apple ID is locked or disabled.


If you are seeing iPhone disabled on the front of your iPhone, you would need to follow the steps outlined in the article associated with your post, If you forgot your iPhone passcode. If you have tried all these steps and still do not have access to your iPhone, you will want to reach out to Apple Support. They can be reached by going to Get Support.
