iPhone 4 Water Indicator in Headphone jack

Hi

I have a brand new iPhone 4 - it got delivered yesterday. But today, I noticed that the water indicator spot in the headphone jack (apparently thats where it is), is red!

It has not got near any water what so ever.

Anyone know why this is?

Cheers

I received a service iPhone 3G a little over a year ago at the genius bar. One day, I happened to look inside the earpiece for no particular reason and saw a little red stripe inside. I just ignored it and not long ago I had to exchange it once again because the battery wasn't holding a charge. I never had a problem getting the phone exchanged through Apple. If you're concerned, you can always take it into a store and have them check it out or notate it.

To the best of my knowledge, there are two sensors in the iPhone, and each have to be triggered to constitute water damage and void your warranty.
