how to clean new macbook pros without polishing cloth?

since the cloth is sold out for months and it doesn't come with the new macbook's which have a nano texture that can't be cleaned without it, what are we supposed to do in the meantime to clean these expensive laptops? i dont want to risk damaging the delicate screens with micro scratches

Any microfibre cloth will do. You can find these anywhere cleaning supplies are sold. You can also get some mild ‘gel’ cleaning spray for TV screens (no harsh chemicals). Just remember to spray the cloth first…Not the MacBook Pro…

btw, there are microfibre cloths out there specifically made more LCDs and computer equipment. They are a little more expensive but you can get a combo cloth/spray for $30 or less…

This is not rocket science, nor do you need a designer $19 piece of cloth measuring 6.3" x 6.3"

to safely clean your new Mac.

any soft, dry, lint-free cloth...

Important: Don’t clean the screen with a cleaner containing acetone. Don’t use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, ammonia, abrasives, or cleaners containing hydrogen peroxide to clean the screen.

No specifically for our Macs, but I just bought a pack of a dozen or so 16"x16" microfiber clothes from Amazon. I forget how many exactly in the pack, but the price per cloth was a little over $1.00US each.

They work perfectly on our Mac's screens and at this price we can have a couple for each Mac and for that horrendously expensive glass top stove we just "had" to buy.
