Apple magic mouse not scrolling up and down

I have the same issue. When the system goes to sleep, and I start back up, I try using the scroll up and down, and it doesn't work.

If I disconnect it from Bluetooth and then reconnect it will work until the next time it goes to sleep.

I agree! There seem to be a lot of people on the forum saying they have the same issue. I'm hoping Apple can find a solution!
