G-Drive and Thunderbolt 4

Hello,

I am just waiting for the delivery of my new MPB M1 Max, which has Thunderbolt 4 ports.

My old (2013) MacBook had USB-A Ports, so when I bought the 10tb G-Drive a few years back I got the cable to suit the USB-A.

Obviously this won't connect directly to my new MPB.

Can I now get a new cable for the Hard Drive that makes it compatible with Thunderbolt 4?

Thanks

Patrick

Hi,

I think your external drive could be connected to your new MacBook Pro with USB-C to USB adapter.
