Started setup and reached page which updated to IOS 15.1 However is not been stuck for an hour with the message "preparing update' Can not move on from this to get a Home Screen with the apps. Tried to restart several times and just goes through same process to same 'preparing update' message. The iPhone is completely useless as I cannot move on to do anything with it. Help appreciated

We recommend that you use the steps below to remove and download the update again:
If you don’t see the update in the list of apps or if the issue happens again, you need to update your device with your computer using Finder or iTunes."
If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch won't update

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I could not access settings with the screen stuck on the update. Eventually I solved the problem by connecting the SE to my iMac which brought up the iPhone on my finder menu. Clicking on this I clicked on 'new phone' and the iMac went through the whole setup including downloading IOS 15.1 in a few minutes. Good job I had this facility !
