In response to Turing test: I actually had or have the executable for windows on my laptop with windows 10 - but an Apple store representative told me (11/4/2021) that they are discontinuing support for the updater app. I don’t believe that they were aware that there is one for windows however (and that I am an actual day-to-day Windows user not a Mac user; unfortunately. I am using windows 10 as my daily OS and only use Apple products for mobile,) and Apple is not being clear about the discontinued use of the windows beats updater specifically.

Ah, so it existed, but perhaps is no longer functional due to changes at Apple's end.
