Dual sense controller for private listening

I know you can use dualsense controller to play games on Apple TV and to control the interface . My question is can I use the controller to select a streaming app and then plug headphones into the headphone jack and listen to my show/movie that way?

The headphone connector on the controller is not functional for use with the Apple TV box (or any other Apple devices). The ‘driver’ on Apple devices is just for using the controller as input device.

You may use Bluetooth headphones or earbuds to connect the the Apple TV box instead. With supported AirPods or Beats, you may even share that audio with another set.
