For the past week I have had to reset the orientation lock on the kindle app several times. It’s fine for a while, but if I inadvertently rotate my phone while reading it slips from portrait to landscape and I find the lock is off and have to reset it. It only takes a moment, but is a nuisance and has never happened before. Any suggestions please? Other than not to rotate the phone of course!

Also have the problem. It is kindle app specific. I set the orientation lock on the book I’m reading and as soon as I navigate away from that specific book the orientation lock is reset. It’s truly annoying.
It seems only to happen for me when the phone is rotated fast from portrait to landscape, as if it’s a way to deliberately switch off the orientation lock in the Kindle app. It’s fine if there’s no sudden movement, and it only takes a moment to access the setting to switch it on again! I don’t seem to have an issue between books.
I don’t know about RosalindG’s situation, but I have the same problem and it’s Kindle specific.
