Can apple add outdoor rowing as a sport on apple watch?

I am frustrated to use the rowing machine workout when recording my rowing as it doesn’t show me distance, stroke rate, speed etc. Id like this to become a feature on the apple watch.

Apple Watch indoor workouts. Can apple add the ability to add distance to indoor workouts recorded from an Apple Watch? Cycling and rowing specifically but I am sure there are others. My equipment tracks my distance. So if I run the workouts on my watch so I can get heart rate and calories and all that, why can’t I go in and add the distance manually after? Seems like it should be a simple thing to be able to do without downloading and running separate apps and all sorts of frustration.

Paddling Workout Hi there, I've been thinking about getting the new Apple Watch but unfortunately the workout app doesn't support GPS tracking/measuring distance for the paddling option in the app. Does anyone know if it's going to change? It works so well with the running option. Thanks G
