Dont want to lose data with reset apple id passcode

I forgot my apple id passcode. I opted to reset but dont want to lose my data history.

You won't. Resetting the password does not affect any of the associated data, content or purchases of the Apple ID.

You will NOT loose anything by just resetting the code, only if you change apple ids should you be cautious, but simply changing pass codes is seemless
