Adobe photoshop elements does not launch after installing OS Monterey. I started the computer in safe mode and it worked but after restarting the computer in normal mode the PSE does not launch. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have tried it several times and it works but if you close PSE it will not reopen and you have to do it all over again. Good luck.

I had some issues with PSE 2020 running so had to reinstall it with the installer. Do you still have the installer for your 2021 version? If not you can probably download it again from where you purchased it.
Adobe doesn't seem to be interested in addressing the problem. But having said that, my PSE 2021 was working great until I installed OS Monterey. Monterey caused the problem and I think that the ball is in Apple' court.
Just to add to what Old Toad just stated, you may want to uninstall PSE 2021 completely first using the "Uninstall Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021" file, then reinstalling. I didn't try reinstalling 2021 after upgrading to Monterey, That may work.
Im having the same problem, restarted the mac and it worked once then doesn't load after that until i restart again.
Have spoke to Adobe and they said it is not compatible with Monterey at the moment, i guess we wait for an update from them?
Okay, Here is a work around (PSE 2021) that has worked for my iMac (Processor: 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i3)
Close all apps
Shutdown the computer
Count to 20 (not sure if this is necessary)
Restart
Wait until all screen icons are up
Click the PSE Icon that leads to the Organizer-Photo Editor- Video Editor window.
Click the photo editor.

You will want the currently available version of PSE 2021 or PSE 2022 for Monterey. Also realize that Monterey is new and Adobe may be playing catch up with compatibility issues.
Hi: I do have the latest version of PSE 2021. Do you have any suggestions of how to resolve this? I need to work and most of the images are in PS format. Thanks
2021 works for me. You might have to upgrade to 2022.

FWIW, I had problems with PSE 2021 so I updated to PSE 2022, so far, so good.
As I mentioned, PSE 2022 works in Monterey.
Tried it. Uninstall and reinstalled PSE 2021. It worked....once. It is now back to "not responding".

Turns out I'm seeing the same thing with PSE 2022.
