After upgrading to IOS 15.1 tethering via Wi-Fi for a gen 2 iPad mini isn’t working. Tethering in general is working for most devices, everything works perfectly fine on IOS 14. I can use tethering via Bluetooth and direct connection on the iPad for which Wi-Fi doesn’t function on IOS 15, which leads me to believe something in IOS 15 as far as backwards compatibility has been removed. Anyone else seeing this issue?

Try forgetting and reinstalling the network connection in the ipad (settings, wifi) and resetting network settings in the hotspot provider phone .

Fid you turn on Maximise Compatibility in Hotspot settings?
(iPhone 12 and 13)
I don’t have that on iPhone 11 Pro, I’ve looked in settings for it
