Sending animated text on iPhone 13pro max

When I send someone and animated text they have to click on it for it to work. Before It used to open by itself. How do I change it?

You might have Auto-Play messages effects turned off in Accessibility settings. You can turn this back on by going to Settings > Accessibility > Motion.
