You are going to need to connect to WiFi, not be using a VPN, have a 50% or more battery charge (and leave it connected to power), have 6GB of free space and turn off Low Power mode. And that has to be an iPhone 6s or later.
If you truly have an iPhone 6, it cannot be updated past iOS 12.5.5.
