‘Cellular Update Failed’ error after updating to iOS 15.1 on iPhone 12 Pro Max. Looking at this thread, it appears I’m not the only one.

I saw this same message prior to updating so I followed the prompts and completed the update. Once powered back on, I received the cellular error again. And again…

Restarted device, reset network settings, toggled airplane mode, removed and reinserted SIM card. When attempting to adjust cellular settings, the setting says ‘Error’ and when selected, there is a message for update required. Plz help @Apple

We understand you're getting "Cellular Update Failed" message and you've reviewed this article If you see an Update Failed or Apple Pay Not Available alert after iOS update or restart. If you have gone through the steps in the section labeled "What to do next", you'd want to click on the link to have device serviced.
