Lost photos after updating to iOS 15

After upgrading to iOS 15.1, photos disappeared on our iPhone X and iPhone SE 2020. They can't be seen on your phone or on your Windows computer. At the same time, the phone's memory is filled with photos. Perhaps the problem is that the photo catalogues after the update are called differently: on a Windows computer they appear as 2021__10 (before the update) and 202110__, 202110_a, 202110_b (after the update). How do I restore the photos?

photos missing i noticed this morning that the last two months of my photos are missing from my phone. they aren't in my hidden or recently deleted. i haven't backed up my phone since 3/2023 and i don't know what to do to solve the issue.

missing photos The photos I take on my iphone keep disappearing. They are not in a deleted folder. This happened on my old phone. I thought when I got a new phone this may stop but it hasn't. I have plenty of storage available so that is not an issue. Need help please.
