Recovering deleted reminders

You can try recovering the reminders by logging into iCloud.com on a computer or and iPad. Then click on Account Settings. In the next screen, go to the bottom left corner and click on Restore Calendars and Reminders.

Are you sure that you sync Reminders with iCloud? Go to Settings>Your Name>iCloud>Reminders. Is it turned on for reminders? Meaning is the switch green. If the switch is not green (turned on) you are not syncing reminders with iCloud which means that the reminders should be included in your backup. If they are in the backup, you would have to restore the backup in order to retrieve the reminders.

If that’s the case, then I don’t understand why you don’t see Restore Calendars and Reminders in iCloud.com

I was told that I would need to delete everything on my phone and then back it up to a time before I deleted the reminders. This is far too inconvenient and so I have moved on.

It can bit of a pain, but many times it helps. But to reiterate, if your are syncing Reminders with iCloud, then they will not be in the backup anyway.

I’m not sure why you are not seeing this. I don’t use upgraded reminders either.
