iPad Air 4 default keyboard sound

Hi there, a month ago I bought an iPad Air (4th gen) and used it many times during these days.

Well, it is a very good product, but sometimes I noticed that the default keyboard (the digital one on the touchscreen, not the physical one that you can buy separately), produces a very high sound when I touch the letters, even if I reduce the main volume of the iPad.

Is there someone that can help me to solve this little problem?

Hello Dario95ct,

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities. We understand that the "Keyboard Clicks" are louder than expected on your iPad. Let's turn off this feature, restart your iPad and turn the feature back on to see if that helps. You'll tap Settings > Sounds > Keyboard Clicks, then Restart your iPad

After restarting, turn that feature back on to see if the sound issue continues. You'll also want to be sure that you are fully updated. The description shows you have iPadOS 15 installed. If that's right, the current version is 15.1. To see what you have installed tap Settings > General > About. If an update is needed, be sure to back up your iPad first:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

How to manually update apps on your Apple device

Let us know how it goes.

Take care.
