Verizon Messenger+ app opens and closes after updating to IOS Monterey 12.0.1

When I try to open my desktop Messenger+ app from Verizon, it immediately closes and then pops up an error message below. I've already contacted Verizon and they suggested contacting Apple. Here I am.

That's good to know. With the issue happening in a new user account it means it's happening over your entire Mac and very likely app related. In your troubleshooting, did you uninstall the app and reinstall it? If not, do that to see if a fresh copy helps: How to uninstall apps on your Mac


If the issue continues at that point, we recommend reaching out to Apple Support: Get Support
