The Lightning connector plugs into the bottom of the right-hand ear-cup - and the USB-C plug to your iPad Pro USB-C port.

At one of headphone cups, ( not sure whuch ) there is a wired connection input.

Is that wired connection input USB- C OR Lightnng?

I have been having this issue as well has there been any workarounds for it? And please for the love of God don't say usb-c to usb-c because the AirPods max use lightning.

One of the ends has USB-C.

I believe the USB-C end plugs into one of the bottom cups of the headphones.

The lightning end plugs into Apple devices with a Lightning connector.

If your iPad Pro has a USB-C connection, you should be a able to a straight USB-C to USB-C connection.

You may need to use/purchase a USB-C to USB-C cable, instead of using the USB-C to Lightning cable provided in the box.
