You can't and even if you could, it would be a waste because the 2011 Mac Mini only has a SATA ll G3 drive controller that will only get you around 280MB/s on a good day.


Your best move for a 2011 Mac Mini, is to upgrade it using a SATA lll 6G SSD that is backwards compatible to 3G.

FWIW many years ago I put a 480GB PNY CS1311 SSD into my 2010 Mac Mini and a 960GB PNY CS1311 SSD into my 2011 Mac Mini. Both of those old Mac Mini's still have the PNY SSDs installed in them and are in service today as media servers.
