late booting issue after upgrade Monterey

I have an imac 2015, running on an external SSD hard drive. When I first install it, I realized slowness of the computer, then I reboot it, but it took 20 min to reboot. I hope apple can find a solution for this soon, otherwise I am thinking to downgrade to bigsur.
