Can’t swipe up on screen to see apps

I can no longer swipe up on my iPhone screen in order to see, and close, apps. Does anyone have an idea how to resolve this please?

iPhone 11, iOS 14

Restart the device. That's it.
Still not solved --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
