White line on iPad’s screen

When I turn on my iPad (turn on, not wake the screen) a thin white vertical line appears for about half a second on the very right side of the screen near the edge, then it disappears. Is this behavior normal?

I think it's nothing serious but, for your peace of mind, I'd suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
