"Install macOS Monterey" icon on launchpad

Hi,

I recently updated my M1 Macbook air to Monterey.

After the update i have a logo on my launchpad saying "Install macOS Monterey".

I have attached the screenshot below.

What do i do about this? If i delete it, will it cause any problems?

Need some advice, Thanks in advance!

I tried this, but it doesn't seem to work.

I drag the icon onto the trash can in my dock, however it bounces back to the launchpad.

This is just a ghost installer, a leftover artifact from the install process.

If you click on it, I suspect it will show the ? mark...

You can simply drag it from the LaunchPad directly to the trash can on your Dock to remove it.
