I have an old Apple TV trying to reconnect has not been used for few years, all lights on box working, but remote will not connect have changed battery snd tried troubleshooting but not working so I need new remote? Is there a light that goes on remote? Or is system too old? Thanks
Possibly the remote needs to be re-linked to the box. If your Apple TV remote isn't working - Apple Support
(Do both steps, unlinking and linking, with the revived remote.)
