Spotify is listed twice in PASSWORD section of iPhone. I don’t recognize one. Was I hacked?

Spotify is listed twice w/in the saved PASSWORDS section on my iPhone. The first instance where Spotify is listed, the email address and password showing are correct. (note: just before this post I updated my Spotify password to be safe)


in the other instance where Spotify is listed in the PASSWORDS section, the user name is one I don’t recognize. It looks very similar to a long hyperlink.

Oddly though, the password that appears with this is one of my old passwords for Spotify. Was I hacked? It says it was last updated earlier today, which I did not do.


I could easily delete this second Spotify from the PASSWORDS section of my phone, but does this solve the problem? What else needs to be done?

If we understand your post correctly, Spotify is listed twice in your saved passwords and you want to know if your account has been hacked. We'd like to help!


Changing your password is a good first step. Have a look at this article and follow the steps: If you think your Apple ID has been compromised


We also suggest doing two things. Turning two-factor authentication on and checking your devices that are logged in.
